Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with regulatory requirements
- Conduct facility audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality permits, and environmental reporting
- Train employees on safety procedures, PPE usage, and regulatory compliance
- Oversee sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction
- Collaborate with operations team to integrate safety into daily workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA 501 & 40-hour HAZWOPER certifications required
- Proven expertise in ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP implementation
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software (e.g., Enviance, ProcessMAP)
- CSP or CIH certification preferred
