Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and sustainability reporting
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS metrics into business objectives
- Stay current on regulatory changes and drive compliance across 3 production facilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years EHS management experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or CHMM designation required
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates by 30%+
- Advanced knowledge of Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- OSHA 500/501 and HAZWOPER certified
