Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001, OSHA, and EPA regulations
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to implement corrective actions with 48-hour response time
- Conduct monthly facility audits and maintain OSHA 300 logs with 99% accuracy
- Manage hazardous waste disposal protocols achieving 100% compliance with RCRA standards
- Design and deliver quarterly safety training programs for 200+ personnel across multiple sites
- Oversee air quality monitoring programs ensuring compliance with EPA NAAQS regulations
- Coordinate emergency response drills and maintain crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years EHS experience with 5+ years in leadership roles
- CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification required
- Proven track record implementing ISO 14001 and VPP programs
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and TCEQ requirements
- Experience managing EHS budgets exceeding $500K annually
- Strong data analytics skills with proficiency in EHS software like Enablon or Intelex
- OSHA 501 and HAZWOPER certifications
