Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead hazardous waste disposal and air quality monitoring programs for industrial clients
- Conduct workplace safety audits and incident investigations with root cause analysis
- Design and deliver employee training on emergency response, spill containment, and regulatory updates
- Manage environmental compliance reporting for EPA, TCEQ, and other regulatory bodies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety-by-design principles into new projects
- Drive continuous improvement through KPI tracking and EHS performance dashboards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 7 years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) credential
- Advanced expertise in RCRA, CERCLA, and OSHA 29 CFR regulations
- Proven track record of developing successful EHS management systems
- Strong proficiency with environmental monitoring software and data analytics
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and regulatory negotiations
- OSHA 501 and HAZWOPER certifications preferred
