Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to ensure continuous improvement
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air quality monitoring, and emergency response protocols
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs across 200+ employees and contractors
- Manage regulatory reporting for EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA with 99% accuracy
- Lead sustainability initiatives including carbon footprint reduction and waste minimization
- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate EHS into daily workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sectorCSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Expertise in OSHA 1910, EPA regulations, and Texas environmental statutes
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates by 30%+
- Advanced data analysis skills using EHS software like Enablon or Cority
- Strong leadership abilities with cross-functional team management experience
