Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Manage environmental compliance including waste management, air permits, and spill prevention
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee safety data collection, analysis, and reporting to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed safety culture into daily operations
- Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- OSHA certifications (CHST, STS, or CSP preferred)
- Proven expertise in developing and managing safety management systems
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and local compliance requirements
- Experience leading incident investigations and root cause analysis
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software and data visualization tools
- Excellent communication skills with ability to influence all organizational levels
