Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance monitoring
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous materials handling, waste disposal, and environmental permits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using EHS software platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on sustainability goals and carbon reduction
- Stay current with evolving EPA, TCEQ, and federal regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 5 years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Advanced knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and waste management protocols
- Proven track record in developing EHS management systems and KPI dashboards
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Exceptional communication abilities for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Experience leading emergency response programs and crisis management
