Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct workplace audits, hazard assessments, and root cause investigations for incidents
- Oversee hazardous waste management, spill prevention, and emergency response protocols
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Analyze EHS data trends and implement corrective actions using digital platforms
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate sustainability initiatives into business operations
- Manage environmental permits, reporting, and compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing environments
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation
- Expert knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and EPA compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar platforms)
- Proven track record of reducing TRIR rates by 30%+ through targeted interventions
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional safety committees
