Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and compliance monitoring for hazardous materials handling
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air permits, and environmental reporting requirements
- Train 200+ employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and sustainable practices
- Collaborate with leadership to integrate EHS metrics into operational KPIs
- Stay current on evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) preferred
- Proven expertise in developing EHS management systems and risk assessment methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations, waste minimization, and pollution prevention
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS reporting and dashboard development
- Exceptional communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and training delivery
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar)
