Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems compliant with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee hazardous waste management programs and environmental monitoring initiatives
- Conduct workplace safety audits and training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage regulatory reporting and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operations
- Drive emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) credential
- Expertise in OSHA compliance, hazardous materials handling, and environmental regulations
- Proven track record developing and implementing EHS management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience leading KPI-driven improvement programs
- Excellent communication abilities with experience presenting to executive leadership
