Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace safety audits, risk assessments, and environmental compliance inspections
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill prevention protocols, and air/water quality monitoring
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for employees at all organizational levels
- Stay current on evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain meticulous EHS documentation systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Professional certifications (CSP, CIH, or CHMM) strongly preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ)
- Proven experience implementing successful safety management systems
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in EHS software platforms and data analysis tools
