Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 45001/14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis for near-misses and actual occurrences
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air permitting, and environmental monitoring programs
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety training for 200+ employees
- Oversee regulatory compliance with OSHA, EPA, TCEQ, and local ordinances
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct biannual drills
- Prepare EHS reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- CHMM or CSP certification required
- Expertise in OSHA VPP program implementation
- Strong knowledge of EPA regulations and Texas environmental statutes
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Proven track record in reducing TRIR rates by 30%+
- Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills
