Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments across manufacturing and logistics operations
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and environmental permit compliance
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and sustainable practices
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate safety into operational planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM/ASP/CSP credentials
- Proven expertise in developing EHS policies and management systems
- Advanced knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Cority, EnviroSuite)
- Exceptional communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Experience leading safety culture transformation initiatives
