Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with actionable corrective actions
- Lead regulatory compliance programs for EPA, TCEQ, and other environmental regulations
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air emissions monitoring, and spill prevention protocols
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement ergonomic and process safety improvements
- Prepare EHS reports for executive leadership and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- 8+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CHMM, CSP, or CIH certification preferred
- Expertise in OSHA VPP, EPA RCRA, and TCEQ compliance frameworks
- Advanced proficiency with EHS software platforms (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Strong data analysis skills for EHS KPI tracking and trend reporting
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and crisis management
- Valid Texas Driver's License for facility travel
