Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Conduct regular workplace safety audits and environmental compliance inspections
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality permits, and spill response protocols
- Train employees on safety procedures, emergency response, and environmental best practices
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives
- Stay current on evolving environmental regulations and industry safety standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHST/ASP/CSP credentials preferred
- Proven expertise in environmental compliance (RCRA, CAA, CWA)
- Strong knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
- Experience developing safety metrics and KPI tracking systems
- Excellent communication skills for training diverse workforces
- Ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneously
