Responsibilities
- Develop and execute environmental compliance strategies aligned with EPA, OSHA, and local regulations
- Lead workplace safety audits, incident investigations, and corrective action plans
- Design and deliver employee training programs on hazardous materials handling and emergency response
- Monitor environmental performance metrics and implement sustainability initiatives
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and air/water quality monitoring systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into operations
- Stay current with evolving environmental regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA certification (e.g., CSP, CHMM) and strong knowledge of EPA regulations
- Proven track record of developing successful safety culture initiatives
- Advanced skills in risk assessment, incident investigation, and regulatory reporting
- Experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
