Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses across 5+ manufacturing sites
- Manage environmental permits, waste streams, and regulatory reporting
- Train 200+ employees on safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Conduct workplace audits and implement corrective action plans
- Collaborate with engineering teams on sustainable equipment design
- Track KPIs including incident rates, compliance metrics, and carbon footprint
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 501 certification and CHST/ST credentials preferred
- Expertise in EPA regulations (RCRA, CERCLA) and air quality permits
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates by 30%+
- Strong leadership experience managing cross-functional teams
- OSHA 500 Trainer certification required
