Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct workplace audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement corrective actions
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis to prevent recurrence
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill response protocols, and environmental monitoring
- Deliver engaging EHS training programs to all employee levels
- Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) required
- Deep knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations (RCRA, CAA, CWA)
- Proven track record in developing and implementing safety management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
