Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with industry best practices
- Conduct regular facility audits and inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to drive corrective actions
- Manage hazardous waste disposal programs and environmental permitting processes
- Train employees on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Oversee air/water quality monitoring programs and sustainability initiatives
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to federal and state agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) certification
- Expert knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Proven experience developing EHS management systems and training programs
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software platforms
- Excellent communication abilities for stakeholder engagement and report writing
