Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular site audits and ensure compliance with EPA, TCEQ, and local regulations
- Manage hazardous waste programs, air quality permits, and stormwater compliance
- Train 200+ employees on safety protocols, emergency response, and sustainable practices
- Oversee ergonomics programs and PPE optimization initiatives
- Track KPIs including TRIR, LTIFR, and carbon footprint metrics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP certification and OSHA 501/502 training credentials
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon)
- Proven experience leading sustainability reporting initiatives
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS metrics dashboards
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders
