Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce EHS policies compliant with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Conduct workplace audits and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Design and deliver safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and environmental monitoring systems
- Lead emergency response planning and crisis management initiatives
- Prepare regulatory reports and maintain compliance documentation
- Collaborate with operations teams to integrate safety into daily workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM certification required
- Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ regulations
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency
- Experience developing incident prevention programs
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certification preferred
