Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify hazards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for all employee levels
- Manage environmental permits, reporting, and waste reduction initiatives
- Stay current with regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance
- Coordinate emergency response plans and conduct preparedness drills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS management experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Professional certification (CSP, CHMM, or CIH preferred)
- Deep expertise in OSHA regulations, EPA compliance, and environmental management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in EHS software platforms
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
- Proven track record of reducing incident rates and improving safety metrics
