Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead regulatory compliance initiatives for air quality, waste management, and workplace safety protocols
- Design and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 200+ employees across multiple sites
- Manage hazardous materials handling, spill response, and emergency preparedness systems
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate safety into equipment design and processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Professional certifications (CSP, CHMM, or CIH) strongly preferred
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and Texas environmental codes
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful EHS management systems
- Advanced data analysis skills with EHS software (e.g., Enviance, Intelex)
- Strong leadership abilities with experience managing cross-functional teams
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills for regulatory reporting and training
