Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits, inspections, and compliance monitoring
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for all personnel levels
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental reporting
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- Minimum 8 years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CSP (Certified Safety Professional) designation
- Proven expertise in environmental regulations (RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA)
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon, or similar platforms)
- Strong knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and incident prevention strategies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Experience managing EHS budgets and vendor relationships
