Responsibilities
- Develop and execute EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and safety audits across manufacturing sites
- Lead incident investigations and implement corrective/preventive actions
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, air quality monitoring, and environmental compliance programs
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Oversee emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Track EHS KPIs and prepare executive compliance reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM or CSP designation preferred
- Proven expertise in developing safety management systems
- Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and TCEQ regulations
- Experience with industrial hygiene monitoring and control strategies
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, VelocityEHS)
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
