You will champion our 'Zero Harm' culture, ensuring regulatory compliance while driving sustainability initiatives that protect our workforce and the planet.
You will work cross-functionally to implement innovative safety protocols and lead environmental auditing processes in a fast-paced energy sector environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS policies and strategic safety programs.
- Lead rigorous incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.
- Ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state-level environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site audits, hazard assessments, and industrial hygiene monitoring.
- Manage environmental permitting processes and waste management workflows.
- Lead safety training workshops and emergency response drills for all staff.
- Report key EHS performance metrics to senior executive leadership on a monthly basis.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing EHS role.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH certification highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of federal and Texas state environmental regulations.
- Proven ability to influence organizational culture and safety mindset.
- Strong technical expertise in risk assessment, HAZMAT handling, and emergency preparedness.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
