Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update high-quality, engaging, and effective educational content for various platforms and modalities (e.g., e-learning modules, videos, interactive simulations, assessments).
- Conduct thorough research to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with learning objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, multimedia specialists, and product managers to define scope, gather requirements, and iterate on content.
- Apply instructional design principles to transform complex information into clear, concise, and easy-to-understand learning materials.
- Develop robust assessment strategies and create formative and summative assessments that effectively measure learner comprehension and skill acquisition.
- Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, accessibility standards, and a consistent tone and style.
- Stay abreast of emerging educational technologies, learning methodologies, and content development tools to continuously enhance our offerings.
- Participate in peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall content quality and instructional effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in educational content development, instructional design, or curriculum development within a professional or corporate learning environment.
- Strong understanding of adult learning theories and instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
- Proficiency with e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or similar.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an impeccable eye for detail, grammar, and style.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to evolving priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) administration and content deployment (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Cornerstone).
- A portfolio demonstrating diverse educational content development projects is highly desirable.
