Responsibilities
- Oversee daily regional fleet operations and manage critical carrier partnerships.
- Implement data-driven route optimization strategies to reduce fuel costs and delivery times.
- Ensure full compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and OSHA regulations across all routes.
- Negotiate high-value shipping contracts and manage multi-million dollar logistics budgets.
- Integrate cutting-edge Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to scale operations.
- Lead and mentor a diverse team of logistics coordinators, dispatchers, and drivers.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years in a transportation leadership or fleet management role.
- Expertise in DOT safety regulations and compliance auditing.
- Proven experience managing budgets over $10M annually.
- Strong proficiency with modern TMS platforms (such as MercuryGate or Oracle TM).
- Exceptional leadership and negotiation skills.
