NexGen Logistics Solutions is seeking a visionary Director of Supply Chain Operations to spearhead our North American distribution network. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end supply chain strategies that drive efficiency, reduce lead times, and maximize profitability. We are looking for a leader who thrives on data-driven decision-making and possesses the agility to navigate the complexities of global trade in a fast-paced environment.
As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will bridge the gap between procurement, warehousing, and final-mile delivery. You will champion the adoption of cutting-edge SCM technologies and foster a culture of continuous improvement across our multi-site operations.
Responsibilities
- Architect and execute end-to-end global supply chain strategies to support rapid market expansion.
- Implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize inventory turnover and warehouse throughput.
- Negotiate multi-million dollar contracts with international freight forwarders and 3PL providers.
- Lead the integration of AI-driven demand forecasting and predictive analytics tools.
- Manage a cross-functional team of 50+ across procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Develop and monitor critical KPIs including On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) and Total Landed Cost.
- Design robust risk mitigation frameworks to ensure business continuity during global trade disruptions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume logistics environments.
- Advanced proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP S/4HANA or Oracle SCM.
- Active APICS certification (CPIM or CSCP) is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of managing P&L exceeding $50M with a focus on cost-avoidance.
- Expert-level knowledge of international customs regulations and Incoterms.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders.
