Stratos Global Logistics is seeking a visionary Director of Operations to spearhead our premier Chicago-based fulfillment and distribution hub. In this pivotal executive role, you will be the primary architect of operational excellence, driving efficiency, scalability, and innovation across our complex supply chain ecosystem.

Responsibilities
- Architect and implement strategic operational frameworks to maximize ROI and organizational efficiency.
- Oversee a multi-million dollar annual budget with a focus on cost-reduction and resource optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and scale cross-functional teams across logistics, warehousing, and procurement departments.
- Utilize Lean Six Sigma methodologies to identify and eliminate bottlenecks in the global supply chain.
- Direct the integration of advanced ERP and automation technologies to streamline warehouse operations.
- Collaborate with the C-suite to align operational objectives with long-term corporate growth strategies.
- Maintain rigorous compliance with safety standards and international trade regulations.
- Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) related to throughput, accuracy, and labor productivity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Engineering (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume operations or logistics environments.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale P&L and delivering measurable cost savings.
- Advanced proficiency with Tier 1 ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or Lean Professional certification is highly desirable.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong executive presence with a demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Expertise in change management and leading organizations through rapid scaling phases.
