Stellar Dynamics Systems is seeking a visionary Director of Operations to join our executive leadership team in Austin, TX. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for orchestrating our complex supply chain, refining internal workflows, and driving the operational excellence required to scale our next-generation hardware platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of optimizing cost structures without compromising on quality or speed-to-market. You will collaborate closely with Engineering, Finance, and Sales to ensure that our operational capacity aligns perfectly with our aggressive growth trajectory.
Responsibilities
- Architect and implement scalable operational frameworks to support 2x year-over-year growth.
- Oversee global supply chain management, including vendor selection, contract negotiation, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Drive the adoption of Lean Six Sigma methodologies across all departments to minimize waste and maximize throughput.
- Manage full P&L responsibility for operational departments, ensuring strict adherence to annual budgets.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide real-time visibility into organizational health.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering professional development and high-level engagement.
- Collaborate with the CTO to integrate automated systems and ERP upgrades into daily workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or supply chain management.
- Proven expertise in managing multi-million dollar budgets and complex global logistics.
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite) and data visualization tools.
- Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent project management certification highly desired.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated experience in high-growth technology or manufacturing sectors.
