Responsibilities
- Design and execute end-to-end global supply chain strategies to optimize distribution efficiency and dramatically reduce lead times.
- Lead and scale a high-performing international logistics team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and KPI ownership.
- Negotiate multi-million dollar enterprise-level contracts with ocean carriers, air freight forwarders, and 3PL partners to optimize spend.
- Implement advanced warehouse management systems (WMS) and predictive supply chain analytics tools to drive data-backed decision-making.
- Manage comprehensive logistics budgets, delivering detailed financial forecasting and high-impact cost-saving initiatives.
- Mitigate global supply chain risks by developing robust contingency frameworks for customs, freight disruptions, and inventory shortages.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or MS preferred).
- 8+ years of progressive leadership experience managing complex global logistics and distribution networks.
- Proven track record of optimizing international freight (ocean, air, road) and navigating customs compliance regulations.
- Expert-level proficiency with major enterprise ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and modern WMS platforms.
- Strong analytical capability with active industry certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPIM, or Six Sigma Black Belt).
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
