Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 5-year strategic roadmap for department-wide digital modernization and cloud migration.
- Manage an annual technology budget exceeding $25M, ensuring fiscal responsibility and high-ROI procurement.
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and policy experts using Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Establish rigorous governance frameworks to ensure compliance with FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Serve as a key liaison between technical departments and executive stakeholders to align technology with legislative mandates.
- Drive the adoption of data-driven decision-making by implementing advanced analytics and real-time reporting dashboards.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in large-scale IT project management or digital consulting.
- Expert-level understanding of federal procurement regulations and vendor management within the public sector.
- Proven track record of managing complex legacy system decommissioning and cloud-native transitions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence C-suite executives and elected officials.
- Active Top Secret security clearance or the immediate eligibility to undergo a background investigation.
