Apex Strategy Solutions is looking for a visionary Director of Business Development to lead our expansion in the North American market. We provide high-impact B2B SaaS solutions to Fortune 500 companies, and we need a strategic partner to navigate complex deal cycles and forge long-lasting alliances.
You will work at the intersection of product, marketing, and sales, ensuring our value proposition is perfectly aligned with the needs of our high-value target accounts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to penetrate new enterprise verticals.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from prospecting and lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
- Build and nurture high-level relationships with C-suite stakeholders and key decision-makers.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with product and marketing teams to influence roadmap development based on market demand.
- Represent the company at elite industry conferences, summits, and executive networking events.
- Mentor and scale a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
- Achieve and exceed quarterly revenue quotas and key performance indicators.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in B2B SaaS business development or enterprise sales.
- Proven ability to manage and close six and seven-figure deal sizes.
- Exceptional negotiation skills with a deep understanding of complex procurement cycles.
- Strong background in data-driven sales methodology (MEDDIC or Challenger Sales).
- Proven track record of consistent over-achievement of revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and executive presentation skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
