Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients in a 24-bed ICU
- Monitor and interpret complex hemodynamic data from advanced monitoring systems
- Administer precise medication protocols and perform invasive procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in rapid-response situations
- Maintain meticulous documentation in Epic EHR systems
- Mentor junior staff through our clinical ladder program
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives for cardiac care protocols
Qualifications
- Valid NY RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or cardiac telemetry experience
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and ventilator management
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Strong critical thinking and rapid decision-making abilities
