Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and stabilize critically ill patients using advanced assessment skills
- Administer complex medications and therapies including vasopressors and ventilator management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform rapid response interventions during emergency situations
- Document patient outcomes using Epic EMR system with precision
- Mentor new nurses and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years ICU experience in Level I Trauma center
- BSN degree (MSN preferred for leadership track)
- Proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and arterial line management
- Excellent communication skills during high-pressure situations
- Experience with electronic health records (Epic preferred)
