Responsibilities
- Advise clients on corporate governance, compliance, and regulatory matters
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial contracts and M&A agreements
- Manage intellectual property portfolios and IP dispute resolution
- Lead due diligence processes for venture capital financing rounds
- Develop internal policies and legal frameworks for scaling organizations
- Represent clients in regulatory proceedings and dispute resolution
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide initiatives
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from ABA-accredited law school
- Admitted to Massachusetts Bar with active license
- 5+ years of corporate law experience at a top-tier law firm
- Expertise in venture capital, M&A, and technology transactions
- Strong drafting skills for commercial agreements and SEC filings
- Proven track record in intellectual property protection
- Certification in corporate compliance (e.g., CCEP) preferred
- Experience advising startups or fintech companies
