Responsibilities
- Advise clients on M&A transactions, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance
- Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and SEC filings
- Lead cross-functional teams in due diligence and risk assessment initiatives
- Develop innovative legal solutions for emerging tech and fintech sectors
- Represent clients in arbitration proceedings and regulatory hearings
- Mentor junior attorneys and contribute to firm-wide knowledge management
- Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives within the legal department
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from ABA-accredited law school
- 5+ years of corporate law experience at top-tier law firms
- Admitted to New York State Bar with active membership
- Proven expertise in SEC regulations and corporate compliance frameworks
- Exceptional research, writing, and negotiation abilities
- Experience managing high-stakes M&A transactions ($100M+)
- Strong technical proficiency in legal research platforms (LexisNexis, Westlaw)
- Adaptability to rapidly evolving regulatory landscapes
