Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the company's accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, payroll, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and publish timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Coordinate the preparation of the corporate annual report and all required tax filings.
- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
- Oversee external audit and tax engagements, acting as the primary point of contact.
- Provide strategic financial analysis and guidance to senior management on investment strategies, cash flow management, and capital expenditure.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, with at least 3 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller role.
- Proven working experience as a Controller, preferably within a high-growth technology or FinTech environment.
- Thorough knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to mentor and develop staff.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
