Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing clinical best practices.
- Perform crisis intervention and stabilization services for clients in acute distress.
- Act as a strong advocate for clients navigating the healthcare system and community resources.
- Document clinical notes accurately and maintain secure case files compliant with HIPAA regulations.
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic client care coordination.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited university.
- Current New York State LMSW or LCSW license required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience in mental health or social services.
- Strong working knowledge of DSM-5 and various therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively and compassionately in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
