Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide individual, couples, and group therapy using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Intervene in crisis situations, ensuring client safety and de-escalating acute emotional distress.
- Advocate for patients' needs within the healthcare system and navigate complex social service resources.
- Document clinical progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with HIPAA and agency regulations.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required; Doctorate in Social Work (DSW) preferred.
- Current, active Washington State LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker) license or equivalent credential.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a mental health or social services setting.
- Strong knowledge of psychopathology, trauma-informed care, and community resources.
- Excellent communication skills, empathy, and cultural competence.
