Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, couples, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, case managers, and medical staff.
- Advocate for clients within healthcare and social service systems to ensure access to necessary resources.
- Document clinical notes and progress reports in accordance with agency standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and psycho-educational workshops.
- Participate in case conferences and clinical supervision to ensure best practices.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
- Current New York State licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with ability to obtain LCSW.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical social work, preferably in a community health or non-profit setting.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professional boundaries and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
