Responsibilities
- Perform advanced cardiac assessments and monitor patients during complex catheterization procedures
- Administer specialized medications and emergency interventions in acute cardiac scenarios
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans for cardiac patients
- Maintain precise electronic health records (EHR) documentation with zero-error compliance
- Train junior staff on advanced cardiovascular monitoring techniques and protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives for cardiac care pathways
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with current RN license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 5 years of progressive cardiovascular nursing experience
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
- Experience with cardiac catheterization labs and hemodynamic monitoring systems
- Proven expertise in interpreting ECGs and managing post-procedure care
- Demonstrated ability to remain composed in high-stakes emergency situations
- Strong collaboration skills across interdisciplinary medical teams
