Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess cardiac patients using advanced telemetry systems
- Administer specialized medications and interventions for cardiac conditions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Educate patients and families on cardiac health management
- Document patient care with precision using electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency cardiac situations
- Maintain strict adherence to JCAHO and hospital protocols
Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license (required)
- BSN or higher degree (preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (mandatory)
- Minimum 2 years telemetry/ICU experience
- Strong EKG interpretation skills
- Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
- Experience with cardiac catheterization labs a plus
