Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to identify and penetrate new markets within the UK and EMEA regions.
- Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with C-level executives and decision-makers in target industries.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with key clients and strategic partners to ensure high retention and upsell opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth market research to analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Represent Apex Growth Partners at industry conferences, networking events, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate closely with the product and marketing teams to provide feedback on market needs and refine our value proposition.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and needs analysis to contract negotiation and deal closure.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of success in B2B business development or sales (minimum 3-5 years experience).
- Experience selling complex solutions or enterprise software in the logistics, technology, or professional services sector.
- Strong network of contacts within the UK and EMEA business communities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and MS Office Suite.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and resilient in the face of rejection.
- A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
