Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for high-throughput genomic data analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of wet-lab scientists and clinical researchers to interpret complex biological datasets.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) standards.
- Utilize machine learning algorithms to identify novel biomarkers and drug targets.
- Present technical findings and data visualizations to stakeholders in a clear, actionable manner.
- Maintain and update existing software tools and databases to support ongoing research initiatives.
Qualifications

- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.
- Extensive experience with Linux/Unix environments and version control systems (Git).
- Familiarity with genomic data formats (FASTQ, BAM, VCF) and next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies.
- Deep understanding of statistical analysis and machine learning concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
