The Role:
As a Senior Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver features that exceed user expectations. Your expertise will be pivotal in optimizing application performance and ensuring code quality across the board.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, scalable web applications using modern technologies such as React, Node.js, and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and backend engineers, to translate requirements into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring a seamless user experience across all devices.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code; conduct thorough code reviews and provide constructive feedback to junior developers.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in web development to continuously improve our tech stack.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing relevant projects.
- Expert proficiency in front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and frameworks like React or Vue.js.
- Experience with back-end development using Node.js, Python, or Ruby on Rails.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and accessibility standards (WCAG).
