Responsibilities
- Lead Production Cycles: Oversee the entire production process from pre-production planning and scripting to filming, editing, and final delivery.
- Manage Budgets & Schedules: Create and maintain detailed production budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Creative Direction: Develop creative concepts and visual strategies that align with client objectives and brand identity.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a team of videographers, editors, and production assistants, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Vendor Management: Source and negotiate with external vendors, including studios, equipment rentals, and talent agencies.
- Post-Production Oversight: Review rough cuts and final renders, providing constructive feedback to editors to ensure high-quality output.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional video production experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating commercial work.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro) and non-linear editing systems.
- Directing: Proven ability to direct talent and guide camera crews effectively on set.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly to clients and stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges during production.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
