Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging final cuts that align with the project's creative vision.
- Collaborate closely with directors, producers, and marketing teams to understand project scope and objectives.
- Incorporate music, voiceovers, graphics, and visual effects to elevate the storytelling experience.
- Perform advanced color correction and audio mixing to ensure broadcast-quality standards.
- Continuously discover and implement modern editing technologies and industry best practices to optimize workflow.
- Format and optimize final video assets for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and broadcast television.
- Manage and organize digital assets and project archives efficiently.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of proven professional experience as a Video Editor for digital media or advertising.
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition) and DaVinci Resolve.
- Strong portfolio or reel showcasing a diverse range of video projects, from short-form social content to long-form narratives.
- Solid understanding of pacing, narrative structure, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Experience with motion graphics and basic 2D/3D animation is a strong plus.
- Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
