Responsibilities
- Edit high-impact promotional videos, social media assets, and long-form documentary content.
- Collaborate closely with directors, motion graphic designers, and sound engineers to ensure creative alignment.
- Manage complex timelines and meet tight production deadlines for multi-platform campaigns.
- Perform color grading and basic sound mixing to deliver broadcast-quality masters.
- Maintain organizational standards for project files, media assets, and storage workflows.
- Stay current with industry trends, editing software advancements, and visual storytelling techniques.
- Mentor junior editors to foster growth and excellence within the creative team.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional video editing experience in a studio or agency environment.
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; DaVinci Resolve knowledge is a plus.
- A powerful portfolio demonstrating a strong sense of pacing, narrative structure, and aesthetic design.
- Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, and cross-platform export requirements.
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a high-pressure, fast-paced production setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to pivot creative direction based on client feedback.
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Studies, or a related creative field.
